Cleanliness is next to Godliness . Date : 15th August The event held on 15th August was a new initiative and provided immense satisfaction to everyone who took part. On Independence Day, we provided real freedom to school children, especially girls, by constructing a new clean toilet at the school instead of being forced towards open defecation. This is the first project where a toilet is built in a school funded by the CSR donation from Lean Wisdom and constructed by Shrigandha Foundation. Founders of Lean Wisdom, Mr. Jayaprakash and Mrs. Priya Jayaprakash, attended the event with their children, and it was a great success along with the participation the members and volunteers of Shrigandha Foundation. The discipline of the students, the cultural programs, inspirational talk from the teachers, the transparency in the speech of the headmaster, the arrangement of lunch, and the distribution of prizes—all contributed to a day that passed by so quickly. Despite traveling over 500 kilometers from Bangalore through the day, the satisfaction from the event didn't cause fatigue at all. The six months of preparation and the sense of achieving a goal was indeed fulfilling. We were deeply moved by the simplicity, culture, and generosity of Jayaprakash and Priya. Learning that they completed their education in Kannada medium brought us even closer to them. We wish them and their organization continued success and pray to the Almighty that their work benefits many in the society.
