Shrigandha Foundation Swastya – Dec 20th 2025           On 20th Dec, 2025, Shrigandha Foundation successfully organized a hygiene awareness drive and sanitary products distribution at Sri Shankareshwara high school, Hosadurga Tq, Chitradurga with the objective of promoting healthy practices and improving overall well-being among students. As part of the program, Dr. Sudha, Paediatrician a highly qualified, subject matter expert from Davangere addressed the students and spoke about the importance of maintaining good personal hygiene, regular handwashing, oral care, balanced nutrition, and disease prevention. The doctor also emphasized how small daily habits can help prevent common illnesses and encouraged students to take responsibility for their own health. A special menstrual awareness session was conducted for adolescent girls to educate them about menstruation and menstrual hygiene. The girls were also informed about the safe useof eco friendly reusable sanitary products, promoting confidence and dignity. The session helped address common myths, encouraged open discussion, and provided accurate information in a sensitive and age-appropriate manner. Teachers and school authorities actively supported the initiative and appreciated the NGO’s efforts. The students participated enthusiastically, making the drive impactful and successful. Our beloved doctor courteously discussed individual queries of all the students and addressed their concerns. Also, the lady teachers, lady staff, and many parents (mothers) benefitted from Shrigandha Swasthya program. Around 15 Shrigandha Yodhas travelled from Bengaluru to support this noble cause
